Bankruptcy Lawsuit Settled

I was sued by a bankruptcy trustee in Chicago. He was trying sue for my rents collected on a Real Estate investment using the 90-day "claw back" provision in bankruptcy law. I hired Sean Dore to have the claim dismissed. Sean wrote one of the most brilliant responses to the plaintiffs' claims I have ...ever read. The trustee's attorneys obviously saw their client wasn't going to prevail and quickly settled for a small sum of money. If I wanted to drag the lawsuit out I am sure it would have been dismissed. What impressed me most about Sean was his thorough grasp of the principles of this case and of bankruptcy law. Nothing was going to get by on his watch. He was also no-nonsense, focused and to the point. He and his staff were always responsive, prompt and friendly. I would rehire Sean Dore in a "Chicago" minute should the need arise.

Does Not Appear to be Experienced for Difficult Cases

My suggestion would be to obtain an attorney with a better education and much more experience, you get what you pay for and although the rates may appear attractive, an attorney can put you in a comprising situation for life. Very nice guy, make no mistake about it, but he did not handle my case prop...erly & did not put in the time & effort required having his paralegal doing most of the work (I think she had more experience than he did). He had his rear-end handed to him by the opposing counsel. And did not fight for my rights, seemed to give up/cave-in to the opposing counsel (out classed?). I plan to obtain a more experienced attorney, attempt to clean up his mess, address the injustices & potentially other actions.

Horrible!!!

Possibly the worst lawyer ever. He does not return phone call all. Took on my medical malpractice case and sat on it for 14 months. He got the medical records never reviewed them and never did anything with them until I called after a year went by. After huge struggle to make contact with him he star...ted to scramble. Two months later decides to tell me he can't take the case because he can't get a doctor to sign an affidavit. Perhaps because he took it to a cancer doctor when it was a transplant case. Perhaps because he never read the medical records to find out what was going on and find the spots where they hung themselves in their own notes. Perhaps it was because when I talked to him after a year he still didn't understand the chief complaint of the harm that was done to me. Perhaps this was not explained to the wrpmg doctor he consulted. He liked my family and I to believe that he dealt in medical malpractice. What a joke. He knows nothing about it. In any event he dismissed my case three months prior to the statute of limitations expiring. And then acted charitable stating he was giving me my medical records which was actually a corrupt file. Also does not even have all of the medical record comma and why and I asked him to get that file replaced it was another month of time. While pretending to be so kind, he said he would help me obtain new counsel. More non returned phone calls. He has no idea what he is doing. Probably should not be practicing law since he does not know how to work a telephone. Did he help me find new counsel? Hahaha. His feelings got hurt when I told him I had no one to blame but him for sitting on this case. And so he decided to dismiss me a second time. Because once wasn't enough.. After sitting on my case for 14 months, he dropped it and left me hanging because of the time limit on the statute of limitations. Do not waste your time on this man. Do not believe a word he says about being an aggressive attorney.
