Michael Alan Shorstein

Michael A. Shorstein is a partner at Shorstein & Kelly, P.A. and is a Board Certified Adoption Attorney.  He exclusively practices in the area of adoption law. Mr. Shorstein has participated in the placement of over 2,500 children in loving homes. 

As a member of the prestigious American Academy of Adoption Attorneys and The Florida Adoption Council, he has been active in interstate compact adoptions and has a comprehensive knowledge of adoption law. He works closely with adoption agencies to provide a full range of services to birth parents and adoptive families. He also works directly with families in all types of adoptions, including stepparent, grandparent, relative and adult adoptions.

Mr. Shorstein offers a supportive network to birth mothers and can provide counseling, free medical and living expenses, and transportation. Birth mothers can personally select and meet their adoptive families, as well as receive future pictures and updates about the child. His professional and confidential services are enhanced by a qualified staff of women advisors who have vast experience with birth parents, adoptive parents and adoptees.

Mr. Shorstein contributes both time and resources to many adoption-related and community projects. As a nationally recognized adoption expert, he has appeared on local and national television on the subject of adoption.
