One of my heroes!

I retained Mr. Keenan's services back in 2002; I was broken-hearted after discovering my husband's 2 year long betrayal. I was in my mid 20's with a 2 n a half yr old, living in a tiny 600sq ft apartment, making about 25k per year. The divorce process was far from easy, but I'll never forget walkin...g out of Mr. Keenan's office that first day and him assuring me that me n my son would be taken care of, not to worry. He was right!! Throughout the years, he continues to assist me n guide me through the traitorous waters of visitation, child support, etc. Don't let his gentle nature fool you though, he is a pitbull when he has to be! So if you are looking for an honest, caring, compassionate attorney that's there for his clients long after the case is done, look no further! Thank you, Mr. Keenan!

Excellent attorney

I was shocked to see the negative review on this site since my dealings with Mr. Keenan have been nothing but professional and of the highest quality. Mr. Keenan truly represented my rights as a husband and father in my divorce. I was very happy with the child visitation schedule and child support... I have to pay. Mr. Keenan routinely kept me posted on every aspect of the case and always had excellent advice for me. I would not hesitate to recommend him to all my friends.

May as well use the suggestions of the court

I am a father who was going through a divorce with child custody issues. James was recommended by another attorney that I had prior dealings with. The other attorney was not a family law attorney but had provided excellent work, so I ran with his recommendation. I should have looked around before ...making such an important decision. In the end I paid James more than 7k and ended up paying almost the exact amount suggested by the courts, amongst other things including paying some of her attorney fees (FYI:her attorney was cheaper then James and he didn't specialize in family law). 60% of my payroll is now deducted for child support. James made sure I was divorced but he did nothing to protect my interests. If I had not been present during mediation I would have been subject to the exact amount the court recommended because James did not make sure my income documentation reflected the difference between my average wage amount and my overtime amount. If I had been subject to the higher biweekly child support order - I would not be able to pay it since my company has basically eliminated overtime due to the economy. I would never recommend his services to anyone. If you are married without children and have little or no personal interests and your main concern is just an expedited divorce, he may be of some interest but it would be more economical for you and your estranged spouse to work it out among yourselves. I will never use his services again even when I return to court for modifications. To sum it up...James was a waste of money and time.
