I was injured and required surgery to my ankle and was unable to continue my contract with my gym. Even after providing my surgeon's note, the gym would not release me and sent the remaining lease payments to a collection agency which then reported it to a credit rating company. I called Mr. Stambaug...h who wrote them a "cease and desist" letter which was very clear and left no doubt to our intent regarding my credit rating. He also guided me to obtain the contract and to get another letter from my surgeon. Subsequently, the company called and apologized and repaired the damage to my credit.
