Although Lady Devall acts very kind, and compassionate, it is upsetting to see someone with so much potential wrongly using her power. When one starts prejudicing and discriminating against men, fathers, dads, and allowing these innocent fathers to suffer everyday and fight the unjust system all beca...use of gender bias and not facts/evidence. If she would not favor mother's like every Judge out there, and looked at the facts, and the fact that we are living in 2024, and father's have taken on a primary role in raising children, she allows her personal experiences taint her decisions, thus allowing innocent people to suffer and hurt deep pain.

Stacey was referred to me by a friend. Not only did she help my friend get her kids back, but she helped me keep mine when my ex tried to change custody. In family law being more than an attorney is key. In many cases wether it be divorce or custody, there’s an innocent child stuck in the middle. I found myself in the same place and needed an attorney to not just “do the job”. I needed someone who understood the choices and decisions made could impact... my child for the rest of their life. She took much of her own family time to talk me through scenarios and possibilities. When it came time for final choices she remembered who was at the center of the case and advocated for my child. In turn... she changed their life. She’s one of the best.

Ms. Devall was retained for a child custody case. Within the first month of retaining she informed me that the opposing party actually informed her of a procedural error in which she made; that should have been red flag #1. From the beginning it seemed like she meant well, but was clearly over-extend...ed and did not have the time to commit to my case. I regularly had to ask about the status of my case, and would often go days or weeks without a response. Phone calls, emails, and texts would go unreturned. I would have no communication with her until maybe a day or so before a hearing, in which it would seem as if she was playing catch up. Needless to say we would appear before the judge unprepared. There was even an instance where the judge scolded her for not correctly filing paperwork, additionally, evidence and paperwork failed to be filed on my half behalf, leading to embarrassing moments in front of the judge and opposing counsel. Because of this, may case has dragged on and damaged my case, causing me money, time and my legal rights. I attempted on multiple occasions to reach her to address my concerns, asking if I should pay more money to get more attention to my case (on more than one occasion), and even directly asking if I should seek other counsel. None of my attempts were reciprocated or returned. Finally, I decided to take it upon myself to seek new representation. I have had multiple consultations with attorneys (of which I neglected to bad mouth Ms. DeVall in any way), and the overwhelming consensus among all of them is that my case has been mishandled and most of my money retaining a new attorney would be spent cleaning up a mess and doing damage control. If a lawyer does not have the bandwidth to handle a case, it should be stated in the beginning, or it should be flat out refused.
