I was recommended Finnell, McGuinness, Nezami & Andux by an attorney friend, who a...lso practiced in Florida, but in a different field of law, and knew of this firm and their strong reputation in the Jacksonville area. Certainly when I first met Ms. Shelton, her youth was something I indeed, had questions about. Could someone so young have the experience to give me the best possible outcome? It did weigh on my mind as I was not looking to gamble my future on some freshly minted Juris Doctor that might, due to inexperience, land me in prison for a few years. I made the decision based on the reputation of the firm she works for, and decided to look at her youth as a positive aspect. My view was that she would have the energy and enthusiasm to devote the proper attention to my case, and also have the more experienced lawyers to turn to as her mentors for advice if she needed any. I am certainly glad that I did adopt that view! In the end, all charges were dropped and all records were sealed and expunged such that it is as if it never happened, as if I have never been charged to begin with. Truly, the best case scenario.
