This woman took my case when the public defender quit. She was rude and unprofessional. I could actually deal with that but she was also stupid and did not know or understand the law. She seemed incapable of answering the simplest question or explaining my situation in any kind of terms that anyon...e could understand. I saw glances and eye-rolling from other lawyers in the court room (and at least once from the judge). I since talked to a few real lawyers who were all really confused and couldn't explain the logic in her actions. One of them told me that she has a reputation of doing her cases as quickly (and sloppy) as possible so that she could just get rid of it and not have to work very hard. If she gets appointed to your case, you NEED to do ANYTHING you can to hire a paid lawyer. Beg, borrow, or steal, but don't put your future in her hands!!
