Timothy Miller was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. Mr. Miller graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor’s degree in 2009 and went on to obtain his Law degree from Florida Coastal Law School in 2012. After graduating from law school, Mr. Miller started his career as a prosecutor in the 4th Judicial Circuit. After originally being assigned to misdemeanor cases in County Court at the start of his career Mr. Miller was quickly promoted to Circuit Court where he handled many different types of felony crimes. Before leaving the State Attorney’s Office Mr. Miller was assigned to Repeat Offender Court where he handled a multitude of complex cases often dealing with life felonies. In May of 2016 Mr. Miller joined Robert Shafer and Associates, where he uses his experience and knowledge of the criminal justice system to defend the rights of individuals who have been accused of committing crimes.
