Fought for me when no one else would.

Mike is professional, hard working, and honest. He is diligent, dedicated, and focused, especially at trial. He always returned my calls and answered my questions, which there were a lot of. There were times I was skeptical, but when mediation came, Mike fought for me. When the trial came, he fou...ght even harder. Mike always had my back and he knew exactly how to get the job done without wasting the court's time. He often told me "no attorney can guarantee a specific outcome". I appreciated that Mike was honest with me about this, helping me set my expectations early and often. Sometimes he can be a little slow to respond when the trial date is far off. However, that's because he's just one guy working as hard as he can to give every case 100% of his attention and making sure that, when it's go time, he's not only there, he's driven and focused. As a personal note, I was a self-employed housewife. I was 100% dependent on my abusive ex-husband who walked out on me nearly a year ago. I had little to nothing. Because of my income level, I wasn't getting call backs from attorneys. Affording a retainer was almost impossible. Mike returned my call within 24 hours, we had a meeting within 48, and he helped me on the financial front, always fighting for my temporary needs, rights, and for me to be able to stand up for myself, despite my ex-husband having over one hundred times the resources I did. At times it felt hopeless because of the disparity in income levels and, with COVID, that didn't exactly help my financial situation. Mike helped me when no one else would. If I ever need another attorney, I'll definitely be hiring Mike again. His honesty, brevity, professionalism, hard work, diligence, dedication, and kindness make him the best possible option for a divorce attorney who can handle mediation and litigation. I'm so grateful for him and will never forget just how great it felt to finally have someone in my corner who could actually help me. Mike gave me my day in court, despite all of our efforts to resolve things through mediation and offers. He laid the foundation for the judge to listen to me about the abuse and, even though the opposing counsel tried to interrupt, because of Mike's hard work and the documentation we'd prepared, the judge listened. Regardless of the outcome, my abuser was held accountable for the first time. Mike enabled that. I can finally begin healing. I can finally move on. I am free. I can sleep well again thanks to Mike.
