About Henry
Biography
Construction has always been part of Chip Bachara’s life. The Florida Bar Board-Certified Construction Lawyer grew up working summers as a laborer for his father’s residential construction company, drawing his first paycheck at 13. After earning a degree in Building Construction from the University of Florida, Chip became a licensed general contractor and worked for two large construction companies before attending Mercer University Law School, and he has dedicated his practice to construction law and litigation since being admitted to The Florida Bar.
AV-Preeminent-rated by Martindale Hubbell, Chip has served as first-chair counsel in state and federal trials as well as arbitrations throughout the state of Florida, trying more than 20 cases to verdict. He is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator, an American Arbitration Association-approved Arbitrator, and a graduate of the Harvard University Program on Negotiation, and is regularly recognized for excellence by his peers and clients in ratings such as Best Lawyers in America®, Florida Super Lawyers, Florida Trend’s Legal Elite, and Chambers & Partners. He was recently named Best Lawyers' Jacksonville "Lawyer of the Year" for Construction Law for the 6th time.
