Expert at immigration litigation

I was disheartened when my N-400 was denied, and that was after a year and a half of battling the bureaucracy of USCIS (which included 2 interviews, 2 RFEs, a 1447b lawsuit, it was messy stuff). At that point, I decided that DIY was no longer a smart strategy, and someone on Reddit recommended Chris ...to me. I was told Chris was an ex-DoJ prosecutor on behalf of USCIS and that Chris was also an expert in immigration litigation. Before Chris, I went to EIGHT other immigration attorneys who didn't want to touch my case at all. They said what I want to do can't be done (BS -- they just don't know how to do it). And that person on Reddit told me that "Chris is the guy who would touch the cases nobody else would touch." I needed a killer litigator, because I was planning to take it all the way to District Court, not a paper pusher. So I hired Chris. Chris told me to file an N-336 appeal first, and we should hear back "in 6-8 months." When I saw the N-336 package, I knew I hired the right guy for the job. Holy hell, it was SOLID -- I wasn't confident before this, but upon seeing the legal brief, I thought I had a good chance now. Guess what? USCIS got back to me in TWO WEEKS with an RFE, and in 3 more weeks, they reversed their denial and granted me citizenship. I just had my Oath yesterday, and I'm now officially a proud US citizen! All thanks to Chris. Thank you Chris for saving my case.

Relationship: Worked together on matter

"Chris Dempsey is is an acutely skilled attorney with a strong moral compass. I look forward to future collaborations. While working with him at an intense pro bono clinic (he was the lead organizer), I found him to be extremely well-organized, diligent, hardworking, and thoughtful. He put in 110% effort. His prior experience as an OIL attorney is also quite impressive, and I would warrant his appellate skills are impeccable."
