I couldn’t have hired a better Lawyer for my dissolution of marriage. Attorney Calhoun was always readily available for me to reach him. I didn’t have to call him for updates as he kept me informed throughout the entire process that took a little over a year. He gave me his honest opinions from a mal...e perspective & there were several conversations where he’d just let me vent. He truly cares about the best interest of his clients & he did not let me walk away from my Marriage defeated. I am grateful to have had him represent me. I hired Mr. Calhoun to assist with an issue that potentially jeopardized my business and livelihood. In short, the ex-wife of a person that I was dating was attempting to increase the amount of child support she received by going after my personal business account. ( Yes… she and her attorney was try...ing to treat this matter as if I was the New Wife, when I was just the Girlfriend!). You would have thought her attorney would have told her differently, instead he totally mislead her! However I was concerned that I would lose everything that I had built over the years due to a matter in which had nothing to do with me. Not only did Mr. Calhoun defend me against an unjust and unwarranted attack from the ex-wife’s attorney; he also prevented said attorney from intimidating my accountant in which he tried to force her to reveal my business’ payroll and shareholder's information. His ability to listen to my concerns, and his empathetic demeanor offered the emotional support I needed during this crisis. In addition, his rates were reasonable; not over-inflated like many of the other attorneys in the area. Mr. Calhoun fought for me like no other. He was ALWAYS available whenever I had a question. So, if you’re looking for an advocate who will fight for you tooth and nail, then Mr. Calhoun is the attorney for you. I would definitely hire him again.

Mr. Calhoun is a very assertive, knowledgeable, and caring attorney. I found that in my case which was a pure nightmare scenario he was the absolute best fit for representation in my two year long dilemma. Mr. Calhoun understood the importance and fought vigorously to ensure my rights to my son were ...established, that I received my timesharing time with my son, and that all other issues according were also met and set into place. Mr. Calhoun will listen and empathize with your situation. I found that even though I understand that this was a professional relationship and in terms considered business. However, with that being said throughout the entire process I felt like more of a family member. I expressed a multitude of concerns and had goals in mind to maximize my teaching experience to my son which is my ultimate and only responsibility in life. I was in a place where I could not see my child, but was meeting and exceeding my fatherly duties and responsibilities. Also my military history and service and retirement for injuries sustained in combat were also being dangled over my head. Unfairly and falsely accusing me of being a danger to my child and being too incompetent to father my child because of my injuries. All in all I had absolutely nothing to loose I had no rights, visitation, I was paying child support times 2, there were a multitude of lies and non factual representations of occurrences that never happened, I was receiving absolutely no communication with my son, and there was an unlawful move out of state. While the case was going on Mr. Calhoun told me plenty of times when I was reaching and when I was within reason. I say this meaning that I promise that you can trust this man to represent you. Your intentions will be met to the very best of his ability. There are plenty of times that Mr. Calhoun told me exactly what I didn't want to hear, but saying that it was exactly what I needed to hear and the truth. He is a very strategic and multi angled approached to every situation. I have to say this you will not regret hiring Mr. Calhoun I definitely don't. Personally I feel like this I couldn't have found a better representation from anyone else out there and I did do my research. If I were to pick another attorney for a future event with hopes that there never will be another. Mr. Christopher Calhoun should definitely be the example.
