Hiring Kimberly was the worst mistake I’ve made in my life. I’ll be honest & say I have no idea how she got the 5 star ratings she received. In my opinion she is the most incompetent business professional I have ever dealt with. From day 1 every time we met, we spent most of the time talking about he...r husband, sons, aunts & the next trip she was planning. I should have known better after our 1st meeting but she helped a friend so I stuck with her. Here are just a few of the reasons I think she needs to close her practice: 1. I gave her my new address in June. I just received a letter, from her, that went to my old address. I also had to update my SS account because she didn’t. 2. I got a CD from SS showing everything that’s been submitted - MULTIPLE forms & medical documents were missing. That’s what I get for trusting her. 3. She arrived 10 minutes before my hearing & asked me for my set of sample questions, she sent me, because she forgot hers. 4. At the hearing she hardly asked me any questions & fumbled through what she did ask. 5. She was supposed to bring up my rare medical conditions & explain them to the judge. She didn’t. 6. When she emailed the hearing questions to me (2 days before the hearing), she said she’d call the next day to discuss. She didn’t & ignored my emails telling her I had questions. 7. She didn’t submit all of the paperwork for my ALJ appeal. She didn’t submit the reason for the appeal - all of the mistakes in the ALJ denial letter. 8. It takes her DAYS to respond to emails! 9. At the hearing the judge asked her why a firm was handed in late. She blamed me. Not once did I ever hand in anything late! 10. She was supposed to call my Dr last year to discuss my rare conditions so she could get a better understanding of them for the appeal. She never did. My dr is very supportive & would have spent as much time on the phone with her as needed. I think speaking to my Dr was crucial in my appeal. 11. At 1 point she told me to file a new claim while the old 1 was going through appeals. She insisted this could be done but it can’t - 1 claim at a time. As a lawyer, she should have known this. There is so much more I want to say but space is limited. This woman cost me over $50k & many wasted years. If you are thinking about hiring her - DON’T!! She is incompetent, flighty & never prepared. She even went as far as telling me the stack of folders on her desk were my case. When she walked out of the room I looked at them. They had someone else’s name on them. She repeatedly dropped the ball & it cost me dearly.
