Hired her for a child visitation issue. The advice that she gave me to go to my ex's house to pick up my child (to prove to the courts that I intended on seeing him every other week) almost got me arrested (which would've been the first time in my life). Was billed multiple times for emails that she ...would send out stating dates that she was unavailable. She did not schedule enough time in front of the general Magistrate, causing the case to be extended by another 4 months. Seemed very surprised when the respondent got a lawyer at the last minute. Had me compile evidence that was thrown out of court. Billed me for attorney hours when it REALLY seemed as if the paralegal did this shoddy work. An example of this, the first document that she sent me back was titled Dissolution of Marriage. I was never married to the respondent. Overall, a huge waste of money, time, and worst of all absolutely nothing was resolved. The biggest waste of thousands of dollars that I can imagine. Not to mention the fact that after she was no longer my legal counsel, she allegedly had contact with the respondent and actually APOLOGIZED to my sons mother (the respondant) according to a source that is close to the respondent. Most law firms grow; it is no wonder that she has been practicing law for almost 2 decades and is still by herself. All i got from her services was an ulcer, a final adjucation from the general magistrate punching down on me, and a bank account thousands of dollars lighter.

Ms. Caeners did an incredible job as my divorce attorney. My ex husband is a narcissist who dragged out the divorce for over 16 months. It was a difficult divorce and we went before the judge multiple times. Ms. Canners was extremely good in court. She out lawyered my exes attorney each time.. She he...lped me to secure temporary alimony and durational alimony. She also has an incredible assistant who’s very knowledgeable and easy to work with. I highly recommend Ms. Caeners law firm.
