Hired her for a child visitation issue. The advice that she gave me to go to my ex's house to pick up my child (to prove to the courts that I intended on seeing him every other week) almost got me arrested (which would've been the first time in my life). Was billed multiple times for emails that she ...would send out stating dates that she was unavailable. She did not schedule enough time in front of the general Magistrate, causing the case to be extended by another 4 months. Seemed very surprised when the respondent got a lawyer at the last minute. Had me compile evidence that was thrown out of court. Billed me for attorney hours when it REALLY seemed as if the paralegal did this shoddy work. An example of this, the first document that she sent me back was titled Dissolution of Marriage. I was never married to the respondent. Overall, a huge waste of money, time, and worst of all absolutely nothing was resolved. The biggest waste of thousands of dollars that I can imagine. Not to mention the fact that after she was no longer my legal counsel, she allegedly had contact with the respondent and actually APOLOGIZED to my sons mother (the respondant) according to a source that is close to the respondent. Most law firms grow; it is no wonder that she has been practicing law for almost 2 decades and is still by herself. All i got from her services was an ulcer, a final adjucation from the general magistrate punching down on me, and a bank account thousands of dollars lighter.

Mrs. Caeners took my case and gave me hope there was a chance to get my issue resolved. Mrs. Caeners asked me to collect information and i did what was asked. I contacted her office often to make sure everything was going well and if anything else was needed. I ended up racking up charges from contac...ting her office. I was happy with the information she had collected for a trial. It made me feel she was ready to fight with me. I was ordered to mediation before trial and was not happy with what was being offered. I let Mrs. Caeners know that and told her what I wanted. Mrs. Caeners kept insisting I take what ever deal that was given to me. I refused to take any of the deals. A few days before my trial date, Mrs. Caeners' asked if I had some information. I had to say no because I was never told to collect the information in the many calls made or emails I sent. Then I found out some of the evidence I had was not going to be used by Mrs. Caeners and was not given a reason why. Just before my trial Mrs. Caeners asked I pay my bill in full or she would remove herself from the case. I didn't have the money because it was all caught up in the case. I went into my trial thinking I had no attorney. Before the trial Mrs. Caeners said she would represent me. We were given a chance at mediation again and again I was not happy. I told Mrs. Caeners that I couldn't do it. She told me yes you can. Its almost over with. She agreed with the other person involved and was never an advocate for me. She pressured me into taking the deal because she didn't want to go to trial. In the end I was charged by Mrs. Caeners for a trial but never got my trial. Mrs. Caeners never advised me in any of the decisions. She only told me to take them or asked me what do you think. She would only say it was more than I had already got when I asked for advice. I was stuck because the judge was going to make a decision that day whether I had an attorney or not. I would either use Mrs. Caeners or have the judge make the decision. After the final decision was made I asked Mrs. Caeners questions about the out come. She was very short and never fully answered my questions. I was left with a decision I didn't fully understand, no explanation of what was next and not nearly close to what I hired Mrs. Caeners to help with. Knowing now more about my case from talking with other professionals, I was never fully informed by Mrs. Caeners on my case. There was so many things that could have been done to help me.
