Joseph C. Warren has handled thousands of criminal cases and has over 25 years of experience in criminal trial practice. During his years of practice, Mr. Warren has represented many clients in criminal cases throughout northeast and central Florida’s Circuit and County Courts. Mr. Warren’s practice includes every type of criminal case including VOP’s, VOCC’s, misdemeanors such as DUI, assault, battery, theft, prostitution, traffic cases, domestic cases and drug possession. Mr. Warren also represents clients in all types of felony cases such as aggravated assault, aggravated battery, burglary, drug possession, sale and delivery, drug trafficking, dealing in stolen property, grand theft, firearm cases, sex offenses and robbery.
Mr. Warren was born and raised in Volusia County, Florida. Mr. Warren graduated from Spruce Creek High School, University of Florida, and received his law degree from the Levin College of Law at the University of Florida. Mr. Warren is a former misdemeanor and felony prosecutor in the Seventh Judicial Circuit, which includes Volusia, Flagler, Putnam and St. Johns’ counties. As a prosecutor, Mr. Warren handled all types of criminal cases including Governor assignment cases in Brevard, Sumter, Marion counties. As a criminal defense attorney, Mr. Warren defends the accused in every phase of the case, from intake through trial. Mr. Warren is an experienced trial attorney, having tried over 60 cases to jury verdict. Mr. Warren’s father, Dan R. Warren, was a former State Attorney for the Seventh Judicial Circuit and his mother, Mary Clegg Warren, was an educator and artist.
