Manzanero represents clients before U.S. Immigration Courts, the Board of Immigration Appeals and the Department of Homeland Security agencies. Manzanero is admitted to practice before all Florida State Courts, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. She is fluent in Spanish and conversational in Russian.
Attorney Manzanero graduated from the New College of Florida, the Honors College of Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Upon graduation, Manzanero was awarded the prestigious Carnegie Endowment for International Peace Junior Fellowship. While conducting U.S. foreign policy analysis in Washington, D.C., she co-authored and contributed to several publications.
Attorney Manzanero received her Juris Doctor with a Certificate of Concentration in International Law from Stetson University College of Law. While at Stetson, she served as a law intern in the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida; the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Customs and Border Protection; and the Immigration Unit at Gulfcoast Legal Services. Manzanero also worked as Research Assistant to Professor of Law, Luz E. Nagle, a renowned international law scholar and former Colombian judge, exploring, inter alia, the rise and expansion of transnational criminal organizations in Mexico and Central America, and human trafficking.
