David Michael Bonner Russell

David M. Russell is a native of Ormond Beach and a graduate of Seabreeze High School. Mr. Russell received his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Florida State University where he was a member of the Florida State University Law Review and graduated ranked in the top ten percent in his class. Based upon his academic achievement during law school, Mr. Russell was elected to membership in The Order of the Coif, an honorary scholastic society that promotes excellence in legal education. Prior to law school, he attended Washington University in St. Louis where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

Mr. Russell comes to Pappas and Russell PA with experience from his previous employment as an Assistant State Attorney at the Office of the State Attorney for the Seventh Judicial Circuit of Florida. He was also previously employed as a Staff Attorney to the Honorable Judge Bruce Jacobus at the Fifth District Court of Appeal of Florida. In addition to his previous employment experience, Mr. Russell is a registered Patent Attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

At Pappas and Russell, Mr. Russell concentrates his practice on criminal defense, personal injury, immigration law, and appellate practice.

Mr. Russell is an active member of the Dunn-Blount American Inn of Court and the Volusia County Bar Association
