Daniel Aaron Mowrey

With over 25 years of legal experience, Dan Mowrey decided to form Mowrey Law to carry out his practice and passion for helping others. His dedication to helping others achieve and obtain justice is the inspiration for the firm’s focus on personal injury, medical malpractice, wrongful death and civil litigation.

Over the past decade, Dan has focused his work on personal injury and other complex civil litigation representing individuals and small business in their time of need. Mr. Mowrey’s approach is straightforward, consistent and down-to-earth. Prior to starting Mowrey Law Firm, Mr. Mowrey graduated from Florida State University in 1994. After graduation, Dan worked for two years at a national trucking company before attending law school at Florida Coastal in Jacksonville, FL. After obtaining his law degree in 2000, Dan was immediately hired as an Assistant State Attorney for the Office of the State Attorney Seventh Judicial Circuit, St. Augustine, Florida. After four years at the State Attorney’s Office, Dan ventured into private practice concentrating on guiding and advising individuals and small business through complex legal matters. In 2008 Mr. Mowrey became a founding partner in Mowrey Shoemaker Beardsley (“MSB”), a firm regarded by many in the area as one of St. Johns County’s most prestigious law firms. While at MSB, Mr. Mowrey primarily focused his practice on personal injury, medical malpractice and complex civil matters. Combining his early years with the State Attorney’s Office with his many years of private practice, Dan has gleaned substantial trial experience, having tried over 50 jury and over 150 non-jury trials.
