Crawford spent 6 years as a public defender where he was assigned to the misdemeanor, felony, homicide and sex crimes divisions. During his 10 years of practice, Crawford has successfully tried cases at every level, but the vast majority of his trial experience has involved complex felony cases. While serving as an Assistant Public Defender, Crawford was awarded the Best Advocate Award for his outstanding performance in jury selection, cross-examination, opening statement, and closing argument. Crawford's success at trial has continued into his private practice.
