Jonathan James Luca

Mr. Luca was retained to be my divorce lawyer. All the filings and motions were in placed when hired. On the day of the divorce, my wife's lawyer filed for a continuance, because she had surgery 3 weeks before. Mr. Luca was emailed a picture from my sister, where my wife posted her picture in Faceboo...k, where she posed very healthy walking around the city. Instead of presenting this evidence to the judge, he gave the picture to her lawyer, without my consent. he did not realize that I was standing right behind me. the next day she took all picture of Facebook. I also had a VOP case where I had to face these charges, I retained his services, which I paid him 1500.00 upfront and I had paid him 1000.00 retainer fee for continuing my divorce proceedings, Well he did not file motion of appearance for the VOP court appearance. His paralegal told us, that he was going to send another lawyer in his place to represent me. Of course he denied all of this and ended up filing a motion of appearance the day before the court date at around four o'clock. He lied to us, because he said in an email, that he had filed a few days before. He never contacted me to consult the case with me. I had to retain the services of another lawyer, where she managed to get a continuance from the judge and a week later, proved my innocence. Mr. Luca was so unprepared but he failed to admit so. Also he never gave me a contract to signed for either cases. I had no idea that both fees were nonrefundable. Then to top things off, he sent me an invoice, with charges of services he did not perform. In other words he kept my 2500.00 I have given him all the opportunities to return my money. But he refuses to do so. I am a very forgiven person, but I have to let everybody know who I dealt with and don't wish this on anyone.

I had been fighting for years just to visit with my children while I paid child support faithfully. A mutual friend caught wind that my issue remained unresolved and immediately arranged for me to meet with an angel who didn't stop until I got full custody of my children. This angel passed the reigns... to John who continues to fight for my children and I today. It takes a heart as kind and unselfish as John's to do what he does with such compassion and the world needs more like him and his team in it. He is prompt, efficient, and methodical. He's easy to talk to and provides a homely comfortable atmosphere not just in his office but his character as well. I pray one day the blessings he needs most befalls him so that he can continue to be prosperous both inside and out.
