ZERO STARS. My experience with Stephanie Garcia-Baker was very frustrating. I spent thousands of dollars and still felt like I was constantly having to follow up, ask for updates, and remind her about things we had already discussed. I also found her short and impatient at times when I questioned del...ays or asked why something had not been done. The firm charges $30 to send a portal message and another $30 for a response, so those fees add up fast when you have to keep following up. The retainer may seem low at first, but in my experience, the overall cost climbed quickly as the case went on. I also felt that some of the additional filings and legal work made the case take longer instead of helping move it toward a resolution. I spoke with more than three other attorneys about my case, and those conversations helped confirm my decision to leave. In my opinion, this firm bills very aggressively, and I did not feel the progress matched the amount of money I was spending. I regret hiring Stephanie and would not recommend her or this firm.
