Do not waste your time or money. Honestly, just run. Used this lawyer due to our old lawyer not practicing anymore. We paid well above what this office deserved. Unanswered phone calls, emails, etc. on more than one occasion. We continued to use her because she was familiar with the case at that poin...t and we were going to court one more time. We went ahead and paid thousands of dollars to put on our account so that when we did go to court for the last time the expenses were already handled. This lawyers office then went and advertised under a fake reviewer that this was used "as a retainer" when it most certainly was not. She was already retained as our lawyer and had been paid in full for all past work and was then paid more for future work if needed. When requesting an invoice to show where all the money that was previously given them had gone this could not be provided. When needing to get a hold of someone for emergent questions concerning our children there would be days before a response and when the response was provided it was summed up as "our hands are tied." Do yourself a favor and spend your money and time elsewhere.

When my daughter abandoned her children the youngest one that is 9 we had so many questions about how we could help him. Its not that easy like even enrolling him into school or go to the doctor. We were blessed that Karen's practice was in our home town. She instantly gave us a feeling of being comf...ortable with her and she guided us through what we needed to do for him. We were able to get custody of him because of Karen's commitment to all of us and because she is one smart lady. She is a kind of quiet easy going person but when she has to rise to the occasion as an old saying she can turn from a cuddly kitty to a full grown lioness. She even had crayons, coloring books and goodies for our grandson. She accomplished what we needed to secure him in a loving home not to mention the whole office made you feel like you were just visiting friends. I have told everyone I know if you need a lawyer go see Karen. I don't know where we would be without her.
