Amy is one of the worst attorneys I’ve ever done business with. She doesn’t stay in contact with her clients I never received one bill from her but she kept my entire retainer she requested I called her over 100 times on6 months sent her 87 emails I talked to her secretary she assured me she’s was ge...tting all of our messages we never seen it heard froM her again until we went to court after she told us she was on our side fir our granddaughter she testified to the judge differently I can only pray no one else uses her and I feel completely horrified for anyone appearing in front of her as a judge

This so called Attorney told me that my case would be fairly simple because my child was of age to choose where he wanted to live. During this process, I got a very well paid job working a few hours from home and she said that I needed to come home and do paper work. Thought it would be fairly easy. ...Well, this women refused to write any notice to for my job so I was then fired. She said that she would not excuse me from work even though she told me to come home. She then refused to have or child sign the affidavit forms because it wasn't her job. She refused to keep in contact with me. I would never recommend her to anyone. She is liar and a cheat.

My husband and I wasted $1500 for one consultation, a few emails, and one phone call. We ended up with an incredible attorney, but not until we wasted precious time and resources on Amy. To be frank, she is lazy and unmotivated at her job. She is exetremly bias about certain personal beliefs that clo...ud her work ethic and judgement with her own clients. She is nearly impossible to reach and completely unconcerned for her clients on any level. I have good reason to believe she toed the line ethically in my case and in time may chose to pursue that. For now, I implore anybody who is interested in hiring a divorce attorney to seek elsewhere. With the exception of a couple of big name clients, she has quite the reputation for being impossible to reach and a nasty attitude to boot. The firm she works for is excellent and it is beyond me why they haven't asked her to leave. I feel she in no way represents them well and hope they part ways in the near future. I strongly feel that if an attorney cannot separate their bias from a clients personal beliefs, they should recuse themselves and before they rob the client blind at that. In fact, it should have ended with the consultation and no fee. If you know you cannot fight for your client, do not take the few resources they have and waste their time. In fact, DO NOT TAKE THEIR CASE!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND AMY WALTERS I hired Amy about a year ago. Amy handled my child custody matter. Amy show up to court unprepared. She did not stand up for me or my rights, when I left the court room that day I felt like I had been taken advantage of by my own lawyer. She talks a good talk but whe...n it comes down to showtime she does not stand up to her end of the bargain. Amy does not return phone calls or emails. She will take your money and due nothing in return for you but take advantage of you and your situation, so do yourself a favor find another lawyer!

I hired Amy Walters to represent me in a family law case. She came to court unprepared. Did not allow me to rebut anything that was said by the other party. Nor did she present the evidence that I had given her which would have shut the other party down, Instead she froze in court and started rea...ding out of a law manual instead of presenting the evidence that she had in her possession. The judge shut her down. Her lack of preparation cost me my case. To make matters WORST after the hearing I called her office several times. She refused to return my calls so I began emailing her. Finaly she agreed to a meeting. She stood me up. She did not show nor call. I scheduled another meeting with her and again she did not show. She has no integrity and no professional ethics. In addition, she talked with the other party and his attorney MORE than she talked with me. She also did not disclose that she and the other party's attorney worked togehter recently in the sames office. Ironicaly, she was his intern or something.
