Lauren King Dimitri

Lauren Dimitri is peer rated AV Preeminent with Martindale Hubbell.  She is admitted to practice in both the state and federal courts of Georgia and Alabama. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys sports and the outdoors. She also enjoys spending time with her husband, Tony, and their children, Cayden and Carrington. Lauren and Tony are both lifetime residents of Columbus.

Appellate

Lauren is no stranger to the power of the written word.  She enjoys brief writing at all levels, but in particular, at the appellate level. Lauren has written many successful appellate briefs in her various practice areas, and continues to grow her name in the appellate arena.

Lauren has experience in several general liability matters, specializing in motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, insurance coverage and landlord tenant issues.

Insurance Coverage

Lauren represents insurance companies and their insureds in both first party and third party suits. Lauren has experience in all aspects of insurance defense from the filing of the case through representing the client in trial.

Professional Negligence / Medical Malpractice

Lauren concentrates her professional negligence practice on the defense of hospital entities and private practice physicians in Georgia, undertaking the representation of hospitals and physicians, nurses, and other licensed personnel in medical malpractice litigation.

Retail and Hospitality

Lauren assists with the representation of a variety of retail establishments, including but not limited to, restaurants, gas stations, convenience stores, and grocery stores. Her representation of these types of establishments involves many different causes of action that range from a slip and fall to complex allegations of fraud and deceptive trade practices.
