Ben attended the University of Georgia School of Law, graduating cum laude with a J.D. in 2022. He received his undergraduate degree in agribusiness from the University of Georgia. Ben also graduated from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, where he served as an ambassador for the college. During his college studies, Ben was selected as a GE-Reagan Foundation Scholar from a nationwide pool, based on his leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship.
While in law school, Ben served as an editorial board member of the Journal of Intellectual Property Law and as Vice President of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Society. Ben was also selected to be a part of the law school’s Negotiation Team. While on the Negotiation Team, Ben was a regional champion in an ABA-hosted competition.
During his final year in law school, Ben served as a law clerk for the Association County Commissioners of Georgia’s legal department.
Throughout his legal career, Ben has been dedicated to representing plaintiffs and advocating for the injured. Ben is licensed to practice law in Georgia and Alabama. He has played a key role in multiple successful trials. Ben brings valuable experience as a litigator, having litigated cases and argued motions across Georgia. As an injury attorney, he has represented hundreds of individuals in motor vehicle accidents, trucking collisions, and premises liability cases. Ben has secured multiple seven-figure resolutions and recovered millions of dollars on behalf of his clients.
Ben has effectively handled and resolved cases involving large and municipal corporate defendants. Drawing on his litigation experience and his prior role as a law clerk in the legal department of the Association County Commissioners of Georgia, Ben brings extensive knowledge and insight to the effective handling of claims against government entities.
Ben is actively involved with the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and was selected to be a part of the organization’s LEAD program in 2024. Additionally, he has been recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers for the past two consecutive years, an honor awarded to only 2.5% of attorneys statewide.
Ben was born and raised in Irwin County, Georgia. Now, Ben and his wife, Heyward, live in Tifton with their three children, John, Isaac, and Josie.
