John Benjamin Hancock

Ben Hancock is one of the rising stars of The King Firm and has a passion for personal injury law. His dedication to this practice area began when his sister got injured in a car accident. At that moment, Ben decided he would spend his life seeking justice for victims who are hurt and scared. Ben grew up surrounded by hardworking individuals who valued honesty, integrity, and the importance of standing up for what is right. As a young personal injury lawyer, Ben carries those values with him every day, and they drive him to fight relentlessly for the rights of his clients.

Ben received his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and then went on to enroll in the University of Georgia law school. He graduated cum laude in 2022 after a distinguished academic career. During his time in law school, he was selected from a nationwide pool of candidates to be a GE-Reagan Foundation Scholar. He also served on the editorial board of the Journal of Intellectual Property Law and was the vice president of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Society.

During his time in law school, Ben participated in the University of Georgia School of Law’s Negotiation Team. He entered a contest held by the American Bar Association with the Negotiation Team and emerged a regional champion. And during his final year in law school, he served as a clerk for the Georgia Association County Commissioners.

Ben was born and raised in Irwin County, Georgia. Now, Ben and his wife Heyward live in Tifton with their three children, John, Isaac, and Josie.
