I paid fora contested divorce 5 years ago. In the beginning I had primary physical custody of my kids but then we had a temporary hearing & the lawyer failed to turn in my Affidavits saying I was a good father so their mother was awarded primary physical custody. Now 5 yrs later we went for a final h...earing & he never tried to defend me even though I gave him the evidence & he didn't provide the judge with a final decre with a parenting plan that was signed by me like he was supposed to do. Her lawyer didn't make up the final decree that we agreed to in the final hearing and its been another year since the Finland hearing & my lawyer basically said if I don't sign the agreement even tho I don't agree then the case will be dismissed & ill have to pay for another contested divorce. The whole time I've kept calling & going to the office trying to get this divorce finalized so I can move on with my life & Dan Knight refused to meet with me to speak about the case.
