Robert Allen Plumb Jr

Partner since 2005. 

 I have extensive civil litigation experience in matters involving contracts, personal injury, employment law, zoning and land use matters and corporate law.  My practice also includes complex commercial and real estate transactions, including several hotel and restaurant franchise purchases. I have successfully defended corporate clients, including Labor Finders, Inc., a national temporary employment agency, and ASB Greenworld, Inc., in actions before the EEOC and in federal court involving Title VII and age discrimination claims, gender discrimination and sexual harassment claims. I also have extensive appellate court experience, having successfully argued cases before the Georgia Court of Appeals and Supreme Court and the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.

I am currently the city attorney for Lake Park, Hahira and Cecil, Georgia.  I have represented local governments in Lowndes and Cook Counties since 2001.  In this capacity, I have extensive experience in drafting legislation, contracts and intergovernmental agreements, have represented cities in SPLOST, LOST and Service Delivery litigation, handled land acquisition for capital improvement projects and other real estate matters, and have defended cities in contract and tort litigation.
