J. Michael Bass

I was born and raised in Valdosta, GA.  I have lived here all my life.  I have been a lawyer since 1988 and I have been practicing in the law firm of Closson, Bass and Tomberlin since 1991.

In my personal life, I enjoy live music, travel, football, and fishing.

I only practice criminal defense for people charged with crimes and workers' compensation for people injured at work.  I handle no other types of cases as I choose to limit my practice in order to be as proficient and effective as possible in the types of law I do practice.  I want to be the best attorney possible in the areas I  practice.
