From the consultation, Melissa was professional, yet personable. Throughout a long and difficult court case, she was proactive and thorough as well as accessible. In addition, she was honest about our case and kept us well informed. We highly recommend her and would hire her again without question.
Smart, Sharp, Steady, Compassionate and Tough. The smartest decision I made was hiring Melissa Cruthirds as my attorney.
During a most difficult and confusing time, I could count on Ms. Cruthirds to always be in front of any situation that arose concerning my divorce and custody case. Both matters were extremely complicated in every way imaginable but she never appeared unnerved or caught off guard and her confidence and the preparation she provided me allowed me to be calm and focused during the lengthy hearings. I was frequently impressed at her ability to think quickly, observe and present a line of questioning, regardless of who was testifying, that allowed the truth to become apparent. She never lost focus and it was obvious that it mattered to her that any and all significant information was provided to facilitate the best decisions, especially where a child's well-being was at stake. Over the lengthy period of time she represented me, and a particularly unnerving time for me, she made herself available when things arose that required fast decisions or guidance. It was obvious that she valued my input and desire to be compassionate, but that she could also be as tough as needed to fight for us. Her thoroughness in gathering information and preparation assured that we were ready and organized in court. She remained respectful of other attorneys while making her point. When all was presented and all that was left was a final decision, after observing many hours of hearings with multiple parties and attorneys, I was happy and relieved that Melissa Cruthirds was in my corner. She is a great attorney and really good person. I could not have made a better decision than choosing her to represent me. Quick, Sharp and Smart.
I am a trial attorney. I help people navigate the courts through a very stressful time. I focus primarly on helping guide people through divorce and issues of child custody, visitation, and child support.

I was a paralegal in a general litigation practice for several years prior to attending law school.

Business Attorney | Mar 25
Relationship: Worked together on matter
"I currently am employed as in-house counsel for a Georgia construction company. Melissa handled a case for the company involving a business matter and obtained great results. Her prices were extremely reasonable, she was easy to work with and responsive, she was knowledgeable, her drafting skills were impeccable and she made great decisions on strategy. As a fellow attorney, I feel confident in this referral and recommend Melissa without hesitation for any matter, whether it be divorce, child custody, business, construction, etc. She has the ability to quickly cut through the superfluous information and focus on the primary points to be addressed. Her reasoning is sound and her leadership and accountability is admirable."
