Biography
John Thomas Johnson ("J.T.") joined Gilbert Harrell's Real Estate Practice Group in 2004. His practice focuses on all areas of real estate law, including representation of lending institutoins, assisting land owners in property development, contract negotiation, and closing of residential and commercial transactions.
A native of St. Simons Island, J.T. attended the University of Georgia, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance in 2000. He remained in Athens for law school, graduating from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2004. During his third year of law school, J.T. prosecuted cases in the Morgan County Superior Court as a participant in the Prosecutorial Clinic.
J.T. serves on the board of directors for the Care Net Pregnancy Center of Coastal Georgia and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He also serves as an advisor to the Kappa Alpha Order at the University of Georgia. While at the University of Georgia, J.T. was selected for membership in the Gridiron Secret Society, the Seven, and the Order of the Greek Horsemen.
