Monroe Lynn Frey III

   I have been in practice for 35 years, and am now carrying on a General Practice here in Brunswick. I have worked  in both government and private (law firm) areas, primarily in the field of civil trials and appeals in Georgia state courts and administrative boards and in Federal Court.

  My litigation experience has included construction and business disputes, but has focused on personal injury, disability, wrongful death, products liability, insurance, governmental and employment issues. I am familiar with medical matters, I do my "homework" to develop special areas of knowledge as needed, and I enjoy working with expert witnesses. I have handled criminal litigation but the vast majority of my experience is with civil matters.

   Government matters I have dealt with include zoning, public works contracting, elections, civil rights, public employee issues and many other areas.

   Recently I have been enjoying the human touch and quick turnaround of elder law and healthcare (wills, powers of attorney, advance directives, and probate), as well as consumer issues such as Lemon Law disputes.

    My emphasis is on prompt preparation of documents like contracts, promissory notes and wills, and on very competitive rates. Fees may involve hourly charges, contingent fees, fixed fees or retainers, or any combination of these, depending upon the nature of the legal matter.
