Gary Max Tiller

Gary Tiller joined Ellis, Painter, Ratterree & Adams in October 2018, after graduating cum laude from the University of Mississippi School of Law. An associate attorney with the firm, Mr. Tiller has focused his practice in the area of civil litigation after having worked for prestigious civil litigation firms in Rome and Savannah, Georgia. Mr. Tiller has extensive experience on a wide variety of civil litigation matters, ranging from personal injury to business litigation to family law and domestic relations.

During his law school career at Ole Miss, Mr. Tiller worked on the Mississippi Innocence Project, an initiative dedicated to providing pro bono services to the wrongly convicted. He attended Ole Miss after receiving his undergraduate degree, cum laude, in History Education from Shorter University in 2013 where he was a Captain on the football team. Mr. Tiller grew up in suburban Atlanta, Georgia, where he was a Georgia high school wrestling state champion and active in a wide range of athletic activities.

Outside of work, Mr. Tiller and his fiancée are active in their church, Community Bible Church, and enjoy attending sporting events, trying new recipes, and mountain biking.
