We settled with the at fault party’s insurance company for more than twice as much as their insurance company originally offered us PLUS reimbursement of our out of pocket medical expenses. Originally, we had not wanted to hire an attorney and just wanted a fair settlement from the insurance company directly. Unfortunately, it was not working out that way.
