Patience. Perserverence. Integrity. Guidance. That's Allison Cole.

A few years ago, it became evident to me that my back, thoroughly abused in the welding, sheetmetal and trucking industry, was not going to last very long. My family and close friends said I should seek a path to disability. I resisted and took a couple of 'front desk jobs'. Something that would be '...back-friendly'. Unfortunately, my back would have nothing to do with it. A couple of surgeries, a spinal stimulator implant and very little relief later, I decided to delve into the unknown-to-me SSA disability process. Yikes !!! It was a scary place. Until my first and subsequent meetings with Allison Cole. Allison from the get-go made me feel at ease about the whole process. Yet she was upfront about the length of time it would probably take to see it to the end and was honest about the possible outcome, good or not so good. She was also straight up about her fee. There would be no surprises. Everything was put on the table in front of me. Allison's honesty and integrity are what hooked me. I knew from the very first meeting we had, that I could trust Allison. All this in addition to a high recommendation from a long time, trusted friend of mine. I have not been disappointed. I was guided through the maze of the disability process. With each correspondence that was sent to me from SSA, Allison was there to translate the 'legaleeze' and transform it into English on my level. She made me laugh. Quelled my fears. Was straight with me at every turn, and wouldn't even let me feel sorry for myself. All good things in this process. As the process proceeded, and many months passed and the denial letters were sent from SSA, I got a little down and doubted the process more than once. Allison would have none of that. Among her other traits, she is an encourager. Always gave me both sides of the story but never let me get into self pity or give up. All that was done, over the many months of this process, has proved to be very beneficial. In December of 2014, I was awarded disability status through the SSA. Allison Cole, my wife and I thank you. My family and close friends thank you. And my most of the time screwed up back thanks you. With your legal and professional guidance through this process, and your humor, many burdens have been lifted and much stress has been alleviated. After working and paying into the system since 1969 and not being able to be employed or help support my family, I once again am a viable financially supportive husband, father and papa. Our thanks go out to you, Allison and all of your staff. You guys are without a doubt, the VERY BEST.
