Who is DAVIS HEWITT? I am a lawyer who has practiced trial law in Georgia for over 46 years in a variety of cases from wrongful death, auto accidents, truck wrecks, construction and water runoff to business disputes, wills and probate. Formerly, I was an Assistant Attorney General and a Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Georgia in private practice. I have been lead counsel on some of the largest cases ever filed against the State of Georgia. When Georgia needed legal help in State and Federal Courts, I was proud to be right there, representing the people of Georgia. In my over 17 years of being an insurance defense lawyer, along with many years of substantial Plaintiff’s work, I have dealt with a huge variety of cases. Being familiar with both sides of a case has given me a great advantage. I well know the problems of an injured person and I can talk the language of insurance adjusters and their attorneys.
