Biography
I was born and raised in Savannah and have lived here all my life. This has allowed me to develop extensive relationships in the judicial community where I have earned the respect of judges and prosecutors alike. I have been defending DUI cases since I began practicing in 1980. In 2004 I was certified as a maintenance technician and operator of the Intoxilyzer 5000. During that process the class conducted experiments by swishing a shot of vodka and then testing at different intervals. I tested at 0.035 with no alcohol in my system 45 minutes later. Right then I realized that a lot of innocent people were getting convicted because of the unreliability and inaccuracy of breath testing and I dedicated my practice to fighting this injustice. I have devoted thousands of hours learning the science of defending DUI cases and have taken this knowledge and experience to the courtroom to WIN for my clients.
