Status:  Currently my own boss with my own practice.  I and my paralegal handle over 250 active cases.

Professionally, I am a former Solcitor General for the Municipal Court of Garden City.  Therefore I am competent to handle preliminary hearings, plea offers, motions, and trials.

I represent parties charged with felonies and misdemeanors in Pooler, Bloomingdale, Garden City, Port Wentworth, Tybee Island, Bryan County, Liberty County, Tatnall County, Chatham County, and beyond. I do not restrict myself and allow clients to hire me no matter the distance.  You want me, you got me.  Period.

I started as an immigration attorney helping family members bring family members to America.  Over the years I specialized in tourist visas, visas for those with emergency medical needs, L visas, H1B visas, Asylum and Refugee cases, Extreme Hardship cases, Violence Against Women's Act (VAWA) cases, DACA, DAPA, O visas for those of exceptional talent, and more. Being a specialist in certain visas does not mean much unless one is also an expert handling problems at the National Visa Center and at the U.S. Embassies abroad. My firm has these skills.

Immigration is the area I care about most because my passion is in it. And using my criminal law skills, I have branched off and specialized in alayzing and assisting those with immigration consequences caused by past criminal convictions.  I have the skill and talent to investigate past criminal convictions to determine whether they should and can be attacked and overturned in the courts, so a client can obtain lawful status in America.

Immigration is a time consuming practice for me. However when I am asked, I will handle divorce, custody and modification cases.  These matters often require mediation skills and sometimes even litigation.

A client from out-of-state with a temporary consent agreement will ask me to analyze the agreement for weaknesses and arguments to produce more favorable results for that particular client.  And I do this, though my input may not have a significant outcome outside the State of Georgia. I am only licensed in Georgia. However, I can offer an honest and objective opinion, based on the evidence and facts provided to me, of the competency of the attorney used by the client and the strength of the consent agreement.

I have a gift for bringing parties to the table to resolve their issues.  I like to eliminate ego and anger and pain, and just get to the life issues, the kid issues, the issues where love and passion preside.  In the end, my clients are grateful for my efforts because I work hard and get the best results possible under the circumstances. I am a hard worker and I do not leave all the work to my paralegal. From 9a.m. meetings with probation officers to meeting clients at 9p.m. at a coffee shop because of the client's busy work schedule, I do not close the window.
