Smart but Lazy
Very smart lawyer, but VERY POOR communicator. NEVER returns phone calls; questions, information etc. I felt like I was a fly on his food. Shop around.

Poor representation
Mr. Burnette failed to have my ex-wife served on time. Three weeks went by before she was served with my motion to modify custody. In court, he forgot many of the pieces of evidence I gave him, so when they were introduced by my ex-wife's lawyer, Mr. Burnette was not able to properly respond.
