About Christy
Biography
Christy graduated first in her law school class from Mercer University and formed the personal injury law firm of Childers and McCain. She has been helping truck wreck victims and their families for nearly 20 years.
Christy is a former Education Chair for the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys and is the first woman in Georgia to become NBTA Board Certified in trucking. Her notable trucking results include obtaining an 8-figure verdict against a shipper in a burn case and obtaining an 8-figure verdict in a TBI trucking trial.
In addition to running her own law firm, Christy also organizes adventurous CLEs for women trial lawyers called the Mother Truckers Rally. Recently, along with two other women, she formed a 501(c)(3) non-profit for women trial lawyers and women in the trucking and transportation industry called Sisterhood of the 8. Their goal is to add more voices to the mission of creating safer roads.
She and her husband have two children, Laney and John, and a Great Pyrenees named Maggie.

Christy Childers- Great Result
Christy handled my personal injury case and helped me get my medical bills paid. She also was able to get me the compensation I needed because of the time I missed from work and going to doctor visits. I was able to concentrate on getting better and she took care of everything else.
