Jeff Lasseter was born in Perry, Georgia and has spent his entire career practicing law in the Middle Georgia community. After graduating law school from the Walter F. George School of Law of Mercer University in Macon in 1988, he became a partner in the law firm of Culpepper & Liipfert where he concentrated his attention on family law, real estate law, government law, as well as criminal defense. After that stint in private practice, he joined the Bibb County District Attorney's staff as an Assistant District Attorney, where he personally prosecuted well over 3,500 cases in a career that spanned nearly 15 years. He was assigned to the Narcotics unit, the Domestic Violence unit, the Major Crimes unit, and the Property Crimes unit during his extensive career there, His understanding of this variety of criminal prosecutions made him the logical choice to lead the day-to-day operations of the Bibb County Grand Jury. He was instrumental in Grand Jury special investigations involving the Bibb County Board of Education and the Macon Water Authority.
Jeff enjoys working with clients who find themselves facing criminal charges. Jeff realizes that sometimes bad things happen to good people and aims to take control of the process to minimize any resulting damage.
Jeff also enjoys working with clients who have, by no fault of their own, been injured in car and truck accidents. He takes a special interest in helping those blameless in a situation that left them vulnerable. His goal is to maximize the recovery for each and every client.
In 2005, Jeff relocated to Perry to continue his career in prosecution. Being given the directive to lead the Property Crimes unit for the Houston County District Attorney's Office, he personally prosecuted well over 1,500 cases during the following 4 and a half years, while earning the designation of Senior Assistant District Attorney. In Houston County, he worked with victims of property and theft crimes on a daily basis. During his 19 years as an Assistant District Attorney, Jeff was appointed as Special Prosecutor in Baldwin County, Wilkinson County, Houston County, and Sumter County.
Jeff's focus is on the immediate needs of the firm's clients. The firm has made the affirmative decision to be available on a 24/7 basis. What separates Lasseter Law Firm LLC from the other law firms is that Jeff is available at all times, he promptly returns phone calls, and he attends to the needs of his clients in an expedited manner.

Experienced Criminal Attorney
Mr. Lasseter worked around the clock on my case. He was very responsive, caring, and kept me informed throughout the whole process. He was concerned about my case, truly cared and we were both happy with the outcome. I would definitely recommend!
"I endorse this lawyer. He is very personable and is a fighter. As a former ADA, Jeff can evaluate cases, and provide insight, for his clients based on his prior experience as a prosecutor and also his experience as a criminal defense lawyer."
"Jeff has decades of experience in criminal cases. He knows everyone, has done every type of case, and has helped a ton of people. He's great in front of a jury, but he is also a nice guy, a real gentleman."
