About me

Attorney Monica Wilburn received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in both Political Science and Sociology from University of California, at Riverside, in 1995.  After graduation she worked at a battered women's shelter as a Children's Counselor and then as the Office Administrator for all four of their battered women shelters and facilities for three years. Subsequently, she became a grant writer for The Los Angeles Foodbank, located in Long Beach, California.  She continued to work with this non-profit organization, even while attending law school, until 2001 when she took a clerkship position at the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office handling their preliminary hearings.  In 2002, she earned the Juris Doctorate from Southwestern University of Law, located in Los Angeles, California.

In 2003, Monica took an associates position at the Law Offices of Hayford and Felchlin, located in downtown Los Angeles, where she worked as a workers' compensation defense attorney for schools, large corporations and government entities. In 2005, Monica went to work as a workers' compensation defense attorney for the Law Offices of Bagby, Gajdos and Zachary. Ms. Wilburn has successfully litigated numerous workers' compensation cases. In addition, she participated in litigating civil cases at all levels, including the Court of Appeals and the California Supreme Court.

In 2007, Monica Wilburn relocated to Georgia as the result of her military husband’s new assignment to Warner Robins.  She was subsequently admitted to the Georgia Bar, and shortly thereafter joined two other attorneys at The Rockefeller Law Center.  Now, after four years, Monica Wilburn has opened her own practice.  She opened the The Law Office of Monica Wilburn, LLC, a private practice right here in Warner Robins.  Monica Wilburn, over the years, has handled a variety of bodily injury cases, and looks forward to being a resource for the local medical providers in our community.
