Ed Varner should be avoided at all costs. This clown handled my divorce upon recommendation from a co-worker. My ex-wife might as well have had 2 lawyers representing her. Her's and Ed Varner. They both conspired against me to ensure my ex wife received 1/2 of my military retirement, a new car, H...ealth Insurance paid for life, and an extra $300/month just to make sure I knew I was screwed. There were no allegations of extra-marital activities in this case. Ed is self-serving and incompetent. Steer way clear.

Zero motivation, no drive to work your case, you have to push him constantly to do anything, doesn't seem to care at all. Talks about retirement, which he should do just that, retire! I heard he was great at one time, not sure what happened. Made me feel like my case was a burden that he would have... rather not had to deal with.

I obtained Mr. Varner's services over a contempt charge against me, the biological mother for non compliance of visitation when the father is the one who disappeared and never showed back up. Mr. Varner settled me down rather quickly and reassured me that everything would be fine. We never even had ...to go to court. He had it thrown out within' two days AND got the father paying child support that he neglected for two years AND got him for back child support that he owes. This man doesn't play around when it comes to the welfare of children. He's serious and a SHARK in the courtroom. He's not one to give up at any point. He tells you straight forward how it is and what you need to do and Not do. I suggest you listen to him if you use his services. This man KNOWS his stuff!!! If I need anyone in the future I will refuse to go to anyone else but Mr. Varner.

Mr. Varner recently represented/defended my daughter in a child custody/contempt case. The opposing attorney was supposingly a vey high profile attorney here in town but didn't live up to his reputation. He had NOTHING on Mr. Varner. The contempt case on my daughter was completely thrown out. The pet...ition for custody was dropped before we got to court good. And, Mr. Varner was able to deliver effectively on the children visitation issue. He is a serious no non-sense attorney with a mountain of knowledge concerning family law. He's not one to back down! Not only is he a shark of an attorney, he is a very compassionate attorney who is easy to work with. My daughter felt completely comfortable with him and formed a bond with him. She said she would definetely use him again if she had to.
