Wendell E. Johnston Jr.

     I am a graduate of Richmond Academy and have lived in the Augusta area most of my life.  I am married to Stephanie Johnston and we have two children, Owen and Mary Oliff.  Prior to the formation of Johnston & Smith, LLP, I was a partner in the firm of Johnston, Wilkin & Williams.   My father, Wendell Johnston, Sr., focused primarily on real estate transactions along with David Wilkin.  I focused my practice on civil litigation.   When I began practicing law, I was privilleged to work with Bill Williams.  Bill was a general practitioner who enjoyed trial work and taught me how to prepare for and succeed at trial.  

     I continue to serve as a general practitioner with an emphasis on domestic cases, probate of Estates as well as civil litigation.  I take pride in my work and in having clients that are satisfied with my work ethic and integrity.  The best measure of success is the consistent return of my existing clients whenever a legal matter arises.  When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and occassionally playing a round of golf.  I hope I can help you resolve any legal challenges you may face.
