I did not hire this attorney, but my wife did. I am not an attorney, I do not even do reviews like that. I watch a lot of Law and Order, Dateline, 20/20, a big murder mystery buff. I never seen a professional so unprepared in my life. To add insult to injury, I personally made sure my wife sent pictu...res of an incident that took place to Mrs. Rowe's office. We get to court and she does not even have the evidence THAT WE PROVIDED!!! While we were in court it was like she did not even know why we were there. We asked for clarification on charges that we received from the office and no one could explain why there was a lack of communication on billing WHEN NOTHING HAD BEEN ACCOMPLISHED. She guaranteed a win and we continued to lose on a simple matter with tons of evidence in my wife's favor. She still got paid though. If you would like to throw away your case, by all means please hire Mrs. Rowe.

Last week I was going to hire Cara, before I actually signed any paperwork I sent Cara a retainer, only after reading some horrible reviews how she was a crook and how she used up funds quickly, and how she didn’t deliver on her word. The night that I paid the retainer before I signed any contract I ...asked for my retainer back of $3500, I called to ask about the retainer, they let me know that I would receive it by Monday, unfortunately my child is sick and every dollar counts, and after reading the horrible reviews about her stealing peoples money, I decided not to go through. There was no way that she could have done the work that she said that she did, over three hours of work just on my case which made no sense whatsoever she billed me $50 for a 10 minute phone call with her, She actually billed me for the phone call that I made to ask her for a refund. Well lo and behold, I received my refund check today -640.50 for her time.

Two months ago we hired Cara to help with our custody battle. We spoke with her only one time. Afterwards it was nothing but dead end calls with her assistant who did not relay our messages to Cara. Once we decided we had enough we called for a refund check since we did not use her service. For two w...eeks we called and got the same response from the assistant “it’s not ready yet” I gave the assistant a time and date to have said check ready. When the day came and we walked in the office, the check was still not ready. Come to find out the assistant never relayed information of a refund to Cara. Not only were we nickel and dimed once we got the refund check, Cara was extremely rude when refunding our money and refused to have conversation about why it took 2 weeks to receive a refund. I would not recommend her to anyone who actually wants things done in a timely manner. Because it’s clear they did not care about the satisfaction of their clients.

I hired Cara to fight for custody of my child after previously winning custody in the Georgia court system. I spent over $4000 on legal fees and received little to no proof of any work done. When the time came for court, she was ill-prepared, stating during her closing argument that she had "just wri...tten them" the day before. This woman is the reason I lost custody of my child. She was disorganized, lazy, and never seemed focused or interested in my case. Do not hire her if you're expecting a contested case in court. She is only looking for easy money!
