Do not waste your time, money, or energy with this man. I paid in full up front for a custody case and he literally didn’t do anything. He spoke to me exactly twice , assuring me he had it handled. He didn’t even file paperwork in the right county. Wouldn’t return phone calls. He made an already leng...thy and sensitive custody battle stretch out another 7 months because he chose to do NOTHING. I wish he would have just told me he wasn’t going to handle my case, instead of let me sit and wait and wonder wtf is going on. It took me months to save up enough money to hire a REAL lawyer, since I received no refund from him. I really could have used the money I paid to hire someone else and move this forward. My kids have changed so much in this time. He shouldn’t be allowed to practice.

He will happily take your money but provide less than satisfactory service. If you are looking for professionalism and somebody to truly represent you from start to finish, look elsewhere. He was hired by a family member of mine, charged them $10k up front, then provided poor representation in court. Court documents were inaccurate and illegible. In addition, my family member was never able to get in contact with him, and they discovered he even made deals with the opposing counsel wit...hout their knowledge. All in all, his actions weren’t in the best interest of his client. They eventually found another attorney for a fraction of the cost literally 95% cheaper, with much better representation.

Was charged ten thousand up front and received no representation. He was never available to speak when called, and never returned any phone calls. This attorney will work back door deals with the opposing attorney without your knowledge and that are not in your best interest. Had to hire another atto...rney to take over the case. I would not suggest this attorney at all, I highly recommend finding other representation.

After taking my case, Mr. Rhodes met with me several times. He told me my case was creditable, he suddenly stopped returning my calls and refused to contact me. I know he was communicating with the insurance company and their representatives, I have no idea if the settlement or outcome of my case....
