Joseph Thomas Rhodes

I retained Joseph Rhodes, who was acting as Of Counsel for Industria Business Lawyers LLP, for a time-sensitive business dispute. Unfortunately, the representation did not meet reasonable professional expectations. During the engagement, there were persistent issues with responsiveness, uncertaint...y about whether key actions were actually completed, and an inability to provide clear confirmation for filings and communications that were billed as performed. Given the urgency of the matter, verification and follow-through were critical and were not reliably provided. It also became apparent that the matter fell outside his core practice experience. This was a high-stakes, fast-moving dispute that required disciplined procedural execution and careful tracking, yet basic verification and administrative support appeared lacking. These issues were especially concerning given the high fees charged. Despite those fees, we were required to spend significant time reconstructing the record ourselves, and the engagement was ultimately terminated. A fee dispute is now pending, and we are seeking a full refund based on the deficiencies in the representation. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this attorney for any matter.

He was hired by a family member of mine, charged them $10k up front, then provided poor representation in court. Court documents were inaccurate and illegible. In addition, my family member was never able to get in contact with him, and they discovered he even made deals with the opposing counsel wit...hout their knowledge. All in all, his actions weren’t in the best interest of his client. They eventually found another attorney for a fraction of the cost literally 95% cheaper, with much better representation.

Was charged ten thousand up front and received no representation. He was never available to speak when called, and never returned any phone calls. This attorney will work back door deals with the opposing attorney without your knowledge and that are not in your best interest. Had to hire another atto...rney to take over the case. I would not suggest this attorney at all, I highly recommend finding other representation.
