How do clients decide that they’re satisfied with their legal representation? What criteria do they base it on?? Obviously, this answer will be personal and unique to each person. For me — after hiring Mr. Tisdale to represent me in my lengthy and contentious legal battle — I would say you know yo...u’ve got a great lawyer when you’re more than happy and even look forward to paying those attorney’s fees! Mr. Tisdale is hands down the best lawyer and trial attorney. He’s highly intelligent, motivated, decisive, diligent, thorough, methodical, hardworking and committed. He’s also kind and understanding and will explain what’s happening so you’re not left in the dark and can make informed decisions. Whatever dispute you’re facing, he’ll promptly identify essential issues (& which aren’t), develop your case strategy, and action it diligently — while also ensuring he stays 12 steps ahead of everyone else. He sees the big picture, without missing any of the details. He can think outside the box when needed, but you won’t find him going down rabbit-holes. Mr. Tisdale is well-versed in several practice areas and really sets the bar for ‘the practice of law.’ This is especially true in his trial work. If you want to see what brilliance looks like in the courtroom, just look to Mr. Tisdale and his team as they advocate for your interests.

I hired Mr. Tisdale after my ex filed for Separate Maintenance. I initially had hired another attorney who did not seem up to the task of facing off with the Attorney that my ex hired. Her attorney had an excellent local reputation and I researched who in Augusta could compete at that level. Andy ...was repeatedly recommended to me by others who had favorable outcomes in divorces. Upon hiring Mr. Tisdale, my case immediately began to move along toward a reasonable resolution and we avoided a jury trial. I felt confident that the opposing lawyer respected Andy at the highest level. I couldn’t have been more pleased with the service I received from Andy. His background in the ministry is apparent in that he spends time not only dealing with the legal issues in a divorce, but obviously cares for the devastating emotional consequences that these events have on an entire family. He spent as much time supporting me and being sympathetic to my broken family, as he did protecting my legal rights with the divorce. Andy only charges for the time actually spent on the case (I received a refund of part of my retainer). And when he talks to the client about the personal issues regarding divorce during or after a meeting, he subtracts this time off of his legal bill. I was married for 39 years and have been a successful physician in Augusta for over 20 years. I do not believe that there could be a more knowledgeable, hard working, and compassionate family attorney in the Augusta area than Andy Tisdale.

I consulted with John for a family law case. He was rarely in the office (always out for vacation) and I frequently had to consult with his paralegal. It was difficult getting answers to my questions and his paralegal was particularly unprofessional and even used profanity when speaking with me. No... one in the office seemed to care about the urgent nature of my family law case. I was astonished to learn John had attended divinity school because clearly anything he learned there about helping our Christian brother and sister has been lost on him. His office was rude, focused on money and his paralegal gutter-mouth language reflects poorly on his office. If you're in need of timely, competent and professional service you would be better served by other area attorneys based on my experience with his office.

In October 2015, I went to Mr. Tisdale with a case that dated back to March 2012. Our former Attorney did very little to help us with the case, and she refused to work the case unless she received full payment. We decided to drop that Attorney after paying out $5,310. Mr. Tisdale was able to liste...n to our concerns and get the case moving immediately. He has always been highly recommended by the CSRA residents and now I see why that is so. He may be the best family law attorney in Georgia, only time will tell. I will keep posting reviews based on his performance in this case.
