Excellent!

Cynthia James is the best! I was having a divorce and a buddy of mine gave me her number and she kept me from losing my kids. I would recommend her to anyone.

Amazing Attorney and incredible person

I have known cynthia for several years and she has always been wonderful the so called hot shot local Attorneys with all the Family clout who told me in one instance there was nothing they could do...cynthia James did ..and consistently does . She is the epitome of the full rounded lawyer..fights til the end but also Knows when to play nice to accomplish the Best interest of her clients . HAS represented me in both criminal and civil and been stellar highest recommendations for Mrs James

I've hired Cynthia for several cases. She is very knowledgeable, and helps me understand all the documents and laws regarding my cases. She has my best intentions at heart. She takes her cases very serious and answers my questions completely. I recommend her to everyone I know who needs an attorney. She returns my phone calls in a timely and professional manor.

Knowledgeable, personable, caring, and genuine.

I was very pleased with the handling of my case. If you are looking for an attorney who actually cares about your case, contact this one. She will you shoot you straight. She will not tell you what you want to hear. I felt like I was a person and not another name in a long list of clients. She is very knowledgeable regarding the law. Her paralegal is very knowledgeable also and responsive to your needs. I give them two thumbs up.

divorce

Cynthia and her staff were excellent to work with. Cynthia is very down to earth and very approachable. Every time I walked in her office she was available to answer my questions and stopped what she was doing to help me. She is someone I felt like was on my side from the beginning. She had my back and followed through on everything I asked. She is very reasonable cost wise and goes above and beyond her fee to get things resolved. I really felt like she cared about me and not just about earning a paycheck.

Empathetic and Trustworthy

For my dui case, Cynthia had the knowledge and the empathy for an excellent defense attorney. Cynthia is very attentive and had a non-aggressive yet confident manner in leading my family and I to correct choices. My family and I always felt like we were given very informed choices.

Divorced

I am active duty service member that has been deployed now for over 3 years. Mrs. James and her office kept me very well informed and provided me with excellent feed back to any changes that came up. I could not have asked for a better attorney that is more dedicated and determined to get the best results.

Terrible communication

I paid Cynthia's retainer two months before my first day in court but didn't hear from here until the day before. When on the phone she gave me no comfort about my case and instead repeatedly praised the police department. When I asked what time I needed to be in court she replied, "it starts at 8am but I'm not a morning person". It still upsets me to know just how much Cynthia did not care about me or my case. I pray others are less naive than I and do not hire her.

Stole money from us

She said she would represent us. Paid her over 3,000 to represent us. When it came to the court date she could not be there and left us without money and no lawyer. Do not hire her to help you

Cynthia James has not represented a 'Natalie" nor anyone associated with the name "Natalie". Avvo will not tell me who it is so that I may actually reply with facts. If Avvo is going to let so-called 'client reviewers' ruin our reputations on their site by hiding behind anonymous pseudonyms, perhaps now I understand why Avvo is facing so many lawsuits from attorneys who have had their reputations injured by anonymous "clients". (semi-quoted from another Attorney with 'reviews' on AVVO)
